It is with great sadness we have heard of the illness of one of our clients sons and Thornton grammar school student Luke Harrison.

Unfortunately Luke has been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia which means that he will need a full bone marrow transplant and will be absent from school for a long period of time.

Thornton Grammar school are therefore helping raise monies alongside the fund that has been set up by friends of the family Team Luke Kicks Leukemia to directly support Luke during his period of absence both with his educational needs and general well being.

Team Kicks Leukemia has a Facebook page with over 1000+ followers and the family are gaining strength from the support that is out there for them.  Please take a minute to like this page and keep up to date with the events that are planned.

A fun day is being held on 27th July at Clayton Cricket Club to raise awareness for the need for people to register on the Anthony Nolan, Blood Donation and Bone Marrow registers so that people like Luke have the Bone Marrow & Blood needed to fight this nasty disease.  There will be lots going on on the 27th with stalls, bouncy castle, pony rides, BBQ, live music and much much more.

First the hair is cleansed using a Clarifying / Deep Cleanse Shampoo (this removes product and environmental build –ups which often inhibit nourishment absorption). Once the hair is rinsed and excess moisture is removed with a towel, the glass ampoule is immersed in hot water; allowing a molecular transition to take place from a solid to a liquid form. The viscous liquid is withdrawn using a syringe, injected into hot water and mixed thoroughly to form a rich crème (this is instantaneous).

The crème is then applied to medium meshes of hair using a clean tint brush and the excess removed until the whole head of hair has been coated. Using a development cap (or similar) the hair is covered and processed under a heat source; such as a “hood drier or climazone, etc.” for the time of 15 minutes. The heat, further opens the cuticles allowing for deeper penetration into the cortex; thus allowing activation to take place at the correct place within the structure of the hair. This results in a strengthening and reparative action, internally and externally resulting in rejuvenated hair in its entirety.

The hair is then rinsed (between 50% -80% of product removal) at the back basin using cool to tepid water. (NB. It is important to leave some product in the hair). On removing excess moisture with a towel, blow-dry to 100% dry to the required style. Starting at the nape, sectioning into 1 inch horizontal meshes, flat iron each mesh twice at a temperature of between 200°C – 220°C depending on the hair type. This allows for the sealing and enphusion process to take place; further allowing maintaining the longevity of the treatment.
